At the Artist of South Whidbey meeting April 12th President Gaylen Whiteman presented Whidbey Island Arts Council President Don Wodjenski and Chairperson of Arts in Education Frank Rose with a check for $1,000.00 for the Artist in Residence Program.

Funding for ASW Community Arts is through sales of cards displaying images painted by members.

ASW cards may be purchased on South Whidbey from Casey’s Arts & Crafts in Bayview and Callahan's Firehouse in Langley. The Artist in Residence program matches Whidbey Island K-12 teachers and artists in collaborative Arts enrichment activities for the classroom.
