Raven Rocks Gallery presents: “Tim Potter's Puzzled Fish and Friends”

November 4th – 30th, 2016

Gallery Reception Friday, November 4th from 5-7 PM

Tim Potter is, once again, poised to delight art lovers young and old with his latest collection of whimsical and highly detailed “Escher-esque” creations. With titles such as “A Fine Feathered Fish” and “Wooden Puzzled Coho”, you can well imagine the treats in store for you with this playful array of meticulous whimsy. Tim’s work has been a favorite of gallery visitors and art collectors for years, and these new works are no exception. Mainly done in finely detailed pen & ink on clayboard, there will also be a lovely surprise or two. In Tim’s words, “My creations may look normal from a distance, but upon closer inspection, my obsession for detail, symbolism, mythology and complex patterns of interrelated shapes reveal themselves.  I like to create stories within the larger images in my drawings, allowing for exploration of more than just the story-picture.”

Please join Tim and all of us at Raven Rocks Gallery for our Greenbank Farm monthly celebration of First Friday on November 4th, from 5-7PM. All the galleries offer light refreshments, the cheese and wine shops will have tastings and the café will be open for its famous pies and locally roasted coffee. For more information and gallery hours, visit us at ravenrocksgallery.com or call 360-222-0102. Our Gallery is a proud member of the Whidbey Art Trail.
