Habitat for Humanity Announces Veterans Build

by Erik Mann 1st June 2021

Habitat for Humanity of Island County is proud to announce that we have been accepted as the newest Veteran Build Affiliate. Staff will begin “Basic Training” this summer, unlocking new supports and opportunities for HFHIC to serve Island County’s veterans.

"We are blessed to be able to honor the sacrifices of our veterans, and work alongside them to ensure every veteran has safe, decent, affordable housing," said Island County Habitat CEO Orin Kolaitis. "By providing critical home repairs to veteran homeowners and adaptive accommodations for veterans with service-connected disabilities we will ensure that veterans can safely remain in the homes they own."

We hope the community will partner with us to provide safe, decent, affordable housing to Island County’s Veterans.
