Whidbey Island Bus Routes

As you take a glance at the image displayed above, you'll see that Whidbey Island has a comprehensive bus schedule that runs the entire length of the island. It's worth mentioning that Island Transit, a service provider on the island, has been in operation since 1987, offering efficient services to the locals. To give a little history, the PTBA (public transportation benefit area), which initially provided transport services, underwent a name change and became "Island Transit." The new service provider then introduced fare-free services with four bus routes that covered Oak Harbor and southern Whidbey Island. Additionally, they also offered vanpool service to the Boeing Everett Factory, and contracted dial-a-ride service. It's good to note that Island Transit provides the most current schedules to its users.

If you're planning to travel to Whidbey Island, Island Transit has got you covered with their trip planner. This feature makes planning your schedule a breeze and aids in navigation while you travel on Whidbey. Don't miss out on the convenience and ease that Island Transit has to offer!
