Tyler Kane can handle just about all of your yard maintenance needs with his new company: South Whidbey Property Maintenance and Landscaping

by Carolyn Tamler 15th January 2024

Tyler Kane has extensive experience doing a broad range of yard work for several local companies.  Now, he has decided to establish his own business: South Whidbey Property Maintenance and Landscaping.

As sole proprietor, he notes, “When you hire me, I can take care of all your yard maintenance needs. I have worked with plants my whole life.” He can do small or medium-size projects, and he especially enjoys working with private homeowners. He is also a general contractor. He is licensed, bonded and insured.

Tyler came to Whidbey in 2014. He was raised in the Midwest, but knew that he wanted to be close to water. His brother on Whidbey is an arborist who has worked with Garth and Jason Heggenes, and Tyler found work with Venture Out Nursery as well as with the Heggenes. Working with local businesses he has acquired a broad range of skills that he is now using with his own company.

Tyler notes that he has high standards for all of the work he does. As the owner/operator of his business, he can be a “one stop shop” for a variety of landscaping needs.  He also strives to respond to job requests within 12 hours of receiving a contact from a client or potential client.

He knows the Whidbey Island community well, and he understands the importance of being responsive to the requests he receives. His ethics reflect his simple attitude: “I don’t sell work that doesn’t need to be done.”

If you would like to have Tyler evaluate the landscaping needs of your property, you can give him a call at 360-544-2653, or email him at southwhidbeypml@gmail.com.
