June 14th, 2015
Safety Fair at Greenbank Farm
Sponsored by Puget Sound Energy
12 Noon – 3pm / Free and Family-Friendly

Step right up! On June 14th, 2015 from Noon-3pm, Greenbank Farm will host Central Whidbey’s first Safety Fair, generously Sponsored by Puget Sound Energy.

Local First Responders, as well as safety and emergency management professionals, will provide valuable interactive learning experiences through ongoing live demonstrations, informational displays, and other family friendly activities. This free, outdoor event will be a fun way for the whole family to learn about electric safety and how to prepare for emergency situations, which is especially important for those living in secluded areas of Whidbey Island.

Important emergency preparedness education will be provided by: Puget Sound Energy, Central Whidbey Fire & Rescue, Island County Sheriff’s Office, The American Red Cross of NW Washington, Safe Kids NW, Island County Dept. of Emergency Management, Emergency Medical Services at Whidbey General, and more!

Since real life emergencies can happen at any time, all scheduled appearances at this event are subject to change without notice. Scheduled vehicle appearances for the Emergency Vehicle Show during this event include a fire engine, ambulances, and a patrol car! Other scheduled activities include live electrical safety demos, fire engine tours, hands-only CPR lessons, and bicycle safety. This event will also feature games, face painting, and fun for the whole family at Greenbank Farm.

Help your family be safe and successful in emergency situations, join us at the Safety Fair!
