Our company is seeking applicants for a locksmith technician position.
The company has been servicing customers on Whidbey Island for over thirty years, and would encourage potential applicants to view this position with that kind of long term commitment in mind. Following a qualifying period, the successful applicant may be offered the option of buying into the company as a partner. We are prepared to train the right person, so no industry specific experience is necessary, but we do encourage qualified individuals to apply.
Our storefront shop is open for regular services Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with technicians serving customers in store, on the phone, and by making outside service calls to the customer's location. We also provide afterhours emergency services, through nights and weekends. Technicians are required to be rostered for afterhours, on-call shifts with a minimum of one night per week, and potentially one weekend per month.
On-call shifts are paid on a commission basis in addition to regular pay, and employees are required to use personally owned vehicle for these shifts.
Requirements: -Mechanical/technical Abilities-Problem Solving Skills-Demonstrated Ability to Provide Excellent Customer Service-Driver's License -Pass a Background Check and Have Clean Driving History-Have Access to a Suitable, Reliable Vehicle for On-Call Shifts Remuneration will be based on experience and will be discussed at interview.
