This program will explore how to create strong passwords for all computer users. Our world is now full of passwords. We hear of data breaches and stolen logins. We are continually told that a strong password is essential to secure your computing assets. How do we respond?

In this class you will learn-

  1. Exactly what constitutes a strong password?
  2. How do we remember so many complicated passwords?
  3. What are the techniques for creating and storing highly secure passwords.

We will experiment with various common password approaches by testing them using a hacking tool to see just what a strong password requires. The program will also examine some new approaches to password management such as online tools and two factor authentication.

This class is for all computer users and users of online services.
