1. PERFECT PIES! !!!!!! Outstanding marionberry, loganberry, and huckleberry. Favorite was marionberry. Crust is tender with a rich buttery flavor, and the berries are perfectly sweetened to bring out the best decadent flavor. The pie was served at a perfect temperature. It's a good thing I can't go to this cafe daily or I would quickly outgrow my wardrobe. Outstanding Americana coffee that was pure perfection.
Place was under staffed so service was slow. But the pies were worth it! !!!!!!! Go there for pie! 09.21.14

2. A great lunch place, amazing pies, and wine-tasting next door--what more could you ask for? During our last lunch visit, we loved our quinoa salad, turkey with cranberry sauce panini and seafood chowder. But best of all are the fresh-baked pies! Buy a couple and through them in your freezer. 03.23.14

3. I had the loganberry pie. It was amazing. I don't even know what a loganberry is, but since it was the signature pie, I went with it. With a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream, it was just perfect. Slice of pie is $4.50, add $1 for ice cream. The cafe isn't very big, so I can definitely see it very crowded on the weekend. We came on a Monday around 11am and it was already packed as we took the 2nd to last table. 06.27.14

4. One of the best places on Whidbey Island for lunch. Homemade soups are delicious and the sandwiches offered are good, the pickled vegetables are to die for. And we always come away with a pie....today it was huckleberry. 05.20.14

5. We tried the marionberry and the salted caramel apple pie and they were both so good. One of the best pies I have ever tried. The crusts we flaky but solid. The apple filling was just tart but sweet enough to balance the salted caramel on the crust. The marionberry filling was number one, definitely recommend! Besides the cafe, the farm is lovely and very quaint. A must to support! 03.17.14

6. We got a delicious strawberry rhubarb pie while staying on Whidbey Island last summer, and I can still remember the tart-sweet taste. We plowed through that pie in about 2 days! Ashley C. San Francisco, CA 10.15.13

7. A friend brought us an apple pie from Whidbey Pies Cafe in Greenbank Farm. It was the best I've ever had, so I went there about a year later, and again, BESTEST APPLE PIE EVER. Me and my two kids just ate it all. I'm ready for another. Everything about their apple pie is perfect. Bham M. 06.28.13

8. Absolutely perfect and delicious pies! Probably the best I've ever had. Every time I'm on the island I try to pick up a pie to bring to friends or family. (I'd eat the whole pie if I took it home!) I've tried Marionberry, Rhubarb, Strawberry Rhubarb, and Salted Caramel Apple. Each one is so wonderful with Rhubarb being my favorite. The service has always been very sweet too. Chelsea H. Lynnwood, WA 03.31.13

1. I think Whidbey Pies Cafe is in the top two or three places to eat on the Island. Your food is so fresh and delicious! My kids are real finicky eaters and they will always go happily to Whidbey Pies Cafe! - Bob O'Brien

2. Five stars. Holler. Why? Well, this place merited a second visit. The next meal. On the same day.You get the feeling you're sitting at your Mom's kitchen table, waiting for some home-cooked goodness. Great views of their farm, fresh flowers at each table, genuinely friendly and knowledgeable servers. The enthusiasm of the employees there - It's like they've been waiting for you to come back. And you will. All of the food is freshly prepared, organic gorgeous greens abound, quality ingredients, flavor-palooza. And make sure you save room for dessert. Don't forget because once you catch a glimpse of their pies ... you won't be able to resist.Prices are moderate, you get what you pay for my momma says. And the joy with which their food is grown, prepared, and served rings true. You will taste it. I can't wait to visit again. McBealerX Seattle WA reviewed 09.16.12

3. Have had their strawberry rhubarb pie twice and each time i was impressed. not too sweet, all the flavors and textures are well balanced. Still thinking about the pie 2 days later! Min P Seattle WA reviewed 06.11.12

4. This place is great. A casual place that has very good, fresh food. This time around I had their special - pulled pork with yam pot pie accompanied by a side salad. The pot pie was amazing - the pulled pork and yams were tender and combined buttery but crisp crunch of the pie it was a great mouth feel. The bbq sauce the in the pie was sweet and flavorful without being overpowering. It was just the right size pie and incredibly filling. Not to say I didn't have dessert too - the cherry pie, which was the perfect amount of sweet and tart. Another great crust, lighter than the pot pie crust, so it didn't feel like we were eating tons of bread. A great place to drop by after camping on the island. Jesse G Seattle WA reviewed 06.08.11

5. Been here twice now in the past 6 or so months and for something different and more "healthy" than the fast food at the local shell station or pub food, I would definitely suggest going here for a bite to eat! They offer soups (some that sound scrumptious and not of the normal offerings), salads, Panini's, sandwiches, slices of homemade pies, etc. The two things I've had here for food is there walnut blue cheese salad with I think it was a raspberry vinaigrette and their BLT Panini (that included the obvious, Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato, but added was havarti cheese and mayo). Both hit the spot and were quite good!!!Their pies look amazingly good and will definitely have to come back when I have enough room in the belly to eat pie. Their offerings go from Loganberry to Rhubarb. If staying on the island or wanting to bring one home, they also have whole pies to sell and take with you. If I knew that I would not waste any of it, I'd definitely be doing this, BUT... I don't think I could finish a whole pie on my own without it going bad first. They are on the right side of the main building and have windows that look out onto the pond that have duck and geese filling it. Such peaceful scenery to enjoy while enjoying their delicious food. Angelina L Lynnwood WA reviewed 02.13.10

6. I love this place!!! The food here is homemade and wonderful! Wondering in here after a hike on a cold February day, I had to die for Spicy Black bean soup (Vegetarian) with great homemade bread. The soup is incredible and they have a different special soup each day.As for the service, our waitress was very friendly. The bus girl, obviously had a busy afternoon, which showed as she rushed around. It is a small restaurant, so seating is limited and it seems to be a hang out for the locals on the island. Be patient if it is busy, as they are quick to seat you and get you fed. I will definitely come back the next time I go to the island. Kathie S. Bellevue, WA reviewed 02.23.11
