Join us on December 6th from 9am to 2pm. Santa will making a vist too! We will have lots of assorted gifts and baked goods for sale. And can purchase some hot chili or chicken noodle soup. Will will also have a free craft table for kids to make Christmas cards. Fun will be had by all! All proceeds go to local charities. We hope to see you there!

Freeland Holiday Parade of Lights & Tree Lighting – Coming December 7th! The most magical night of the year is almost here! Join us in downtown Freeland on Sunday, December 7th for an evening full of holiday cheer! The Holiday Parade kicks off at 4:00 PM, starting at the Frontier parking lot, traveling down Main Street, ending at the Whidbey Tel parking lot @ 1651 Main Street in Freeland — where we’ll gather for the Tree Lighting and holiday festivities! Enjoy a festive night filled with: Visits & photos with Santa & Mrs. Claus + Elsa and Olaf Caroling and live entertainment Vendors, holiday activities, and treats for the whole family Warm drinks and plenty of community spirit! Whidbey’s Saratoga Orchestra invites families and music lovers of all ages to a delightful afternoon of music, learning, and holiday spirit at “A Very Merry Whidbey Concert” on Saturday, December 13 at Coupeville High School. Festivities begin at 1:00 p.m. with the orchestra’s popular and engaging Instrument Petting Zoo, where attendees can see, hear, and try out a variety of orchestral instruments. Musicians from the Saratoga Orchestra will be on hand to demonstrate instruments and offer a fun, hands-on experience for both the young and the young-at-heart. At 2:30 p.m., the orchestra will present a live performance of Sergei Prokofiev’s timeless classic, “Peter and the Wolf.” The concert will be conducted by Music Director Anna Edwards and will feature special guest narrator Seth Tompkins from Classical KING (98.1 FM). Seasonal holiday favorites and a few surprises round out the afternoon. The program is free to youth 17 and under. $30 suggested donation for adults and a “Pay What You Wish” option available.
