NAVAL AIR STATION WHIDBEY ISLAND, Wash. – The aircraft carrier-based flight training window announcement that is sent out each week is temporarily suspended due to ongoing global military operations and heightened operational security.
Navy authorities believe this is a prudent measure for the safety of its aircrew and the local community. This is not in response to a specific threat.
