COUPEVILLE, WA (June 24, 2023) – The Coupeville Festival Association (CFA), the all-volunteer organization responsible for the Coupeville Arts & Crafts Festival, has released a new nine minute video. The video introduces everyone to the 59th year of the Festival, celebrates the variety of artisan vendors—some that have been attending for a decade or two—and showcases how the CFA has contributed over $1.2 million in grants and scholarships to the Whidbey community.

The Coupeville Arts & Crafts Festival is located in seaside Coupeville on the second full weekend of August. Starting in 1964, the Festival was a way for the residents and building owners to breathe life back into a struggling community. Over the years, the Festival has grown and improved with the town. All proceeds after the cost of running the Festival are put back into the community in scholarships for volunteers and grants to non-profits.

“What people need to understand is this isn’t just a once-a-year, weekend festival,” says Deborah O’Brien, CFA Board President. “The impact on the town is immeasurable. We commissioned this video because in this visual-centric time, we wanted an engaging way to show just some of the impact the Festival has on Coupeville and Whidbey at large.”
