Alyssa Keene has many talents she is sharing on Whidbey including acting and esthetician

by Carolyn Tamler 1st December 2025

Alyssa Keene moved to Whidbey Island from Seattle three years ago, and she is becoming well known on the island for her skills as an actress and as an esthetician.

Many people on the island have seen Alyssa on stage at Whidbey Island Center for the Arts and at Island Shakespeare.  She has been working as a professional actor for most of her adult life, and she comments, “I knew I wanted to be an actress since I was six years old.”

She taught at Cornish College of the Arts for 18 years, and in addition to her training as an actress, she has built a career teaching voice, speech and dialects, and also went back to a trade school several years ago and got a license as an esthetician.

She professes a great love for acting: “I always have loved telling stories.”  She has made a successful career with her acting and her other skills that go with it.  Alyssa has had many jobs, but she has focused on acting and has created a successful career with her talent.

She and her husband moved to Whidbey because they recognized that this is where they both wanted to create a home and they were aware of the range of cultural activities here. They purchased a home in Bayview, and Alyssa rents a suite in Greenbank for her studio as an esthetician.

Alyssa hopes to continue to participate in local theater on Whidbey Island and she invites people to contact her if they would like to learn more about what she can do for them as an esthetician.  You can reach Alyssa for esthetician services at www.peachykeeneskincare.com.
