Welcome to new owner of Island Gifts & Collectibles at Greenbank Farm, Kim Sittner. She managed Kim's Cafe on the Coupeville Wharf from 2010 until 2017 when she closed the café to care for her mother in California. When her mother passed away in 2022, Kim decided to return to Whidbey.
The founder of the gift shop, Song, left the business in March to spend more time with her family and Kim felt this was an excellent opportunity to have a business on Whidbey. She bought Island Gifts and Collectibles from Song in March of this year. The store name stays the same and you can find the same high-quality antiques and gifts.

In addition to her experience having a café, Kim also has worked with home décor items including china, crystal and silverware. She notes: “I believe in surrounding ourselves with well-made things every day, not just for the special occasions. I also find the vintage pieces are better quality and craftsmanship.” She adds: “When I was away in California taking care of my mom, I missed Whidbey and the water. When my friend Song decided to sell her shop in March, I bought it from her.
Kim says, “My goal in the future is to open a Vietnamese “Banh mi” shop.”
