The Pup Stop at Greenbank Farm: Celebrating Two years of Making Hounds and their Humans Happy.

by Carolyn Tamler 30th June 2026

The Pup Stop at Greenbank Farm offers a large variety of dog food, treats, toys and accessories, as well as treats and toys for cats.  It is conveniently located right next to the Dog Park at Greenbank Farm.

When people stop by with their dogs, Ned and his assistants, Claire Picardat and Rebecca Wentworth, invite them to come in, sit down and relax in an atmosphere that is friendly and fun for the animals and their owners.  The dogs are offered a treat, and Ned also provides free coffee to the dog owners. If someone stops by with a cat, there are cat treats as well.

Aside from the need that he saw for this kind of store, Ned wanted to establish a business that would be fun for the pups and their owners (and cat owners, too).

One of the main reasons that Ned says he began this business was because, “I love animals and it seemed like a fun thing to do.” In the time since he opened the business in April of 2024, his attitude hasn’t changed. Word has gotten around, and the amount and variety of dog food and cat treats, toys and accessories has doubled.

In the future, Ned is planning to have a mobile groomer available and more activities for dogs (agility classes and pup struts).

If you own a pet or know anyone who does, Ned invites you to come by the store at Greenbank Farm (765 Wonn Road, #C101) and spend time looking around and visiting.  Current hours are Monday and Wednesday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and Sunday, 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (closed Tuesdays).  Your dog will thank you when you bring something special home (so will your cat).

Ned says, “I am happy with the way the business has grown and the “pawsitive” impact it has had on the community and even other local businesses. I love talking to people and hearing their stories.”
