Brian Whitney started his healthcare business in Bellevue. The business name comes from the theme: “Collaboratively helping everyone achieve results.” He was born in Tacoma, grew up in Seattle and earned a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.
He currently has a professional staff of 10 people who provide counseling services to individuals, couples and groups. His staff meets weekly to consult about the issues that have come up with their clients. This provides a careful and thorough service to all of our clients.There is a strong belief at CoHear that the “whole is greater than the sum of its parts.”
Brian has lived on Whidbey for five years. He noticed before he moved here that the community was underserved for mental health. Dana Sawyers, of the Veterans Resource Center in Langley, saw the need for better mental services in the South Whidbey community and suggested to Brian that his services were needed here.
CoHear now provides “Comprehensive Mental Health, Trauma and Addiction Services.” CoHear recognizes the stress and demands people face today. The organization provides a wide range of services including:
