Description
This is a video taken February 3, 2012 on my 4th hike this year. It was at Fort Casey State Park on Whidbey Island in Washington State. There are some spectacular views of Olympic Mountains, Mount Baker, Mount Rainier and Glacier Peak. You can get great shots of the Coupeville/Port Towsend Ferry which docks on the east side of the fort. Fort Casey was built along with 4 to 5 others on both sides of the Strait of Juan de Fuca to protect Pudget Sound in the early 1900's. They were never used in battle. A great place to come camp and bring the family. It is about two hours from Seatlle.
