You and your audiences are invited to come visit Deception Pass State Park this summer and discover the unique cultural and natural resources of Washington’s most-visited state park! Mysterious coves, rugged cliffs, jaw-dropping sunsets and a stomach-dropping high bridge make this park a go-to for locals and travelers alike.
Every summer visitors can expect a full calendar of events put on by Washington State Parks (Parks) staff at Deception Pass – including the annual American Roots concert series at the amphitheater, presented by Parks’ Folk & Traditional Arts Program and the Deception Pass Foundation. The concerts are free to attend, though a Discover Pass or Day Pass is required for parking. Bench seating is available, but attendees can also bring their own foldable chair as seating usually fills up fast. Blankets and bug spray are highly recommended.
Deception Pass visitors can also experience many Junior Ranger Program activities, Tide Pool Tours, and guided hikes. These events are suitable for all ages.
