About this Event

Join us for a guided tour of Whidbey's Earth Sanctuary with its owner and creator, Chuck Pettis.

Earth Sanctuary is a peaceful and magical sacred space sculpture garden, nature reserve and retreat center with two miles of nature trails, three bird-filled ponds, and a variety of powerful sacred spaces. Chuck will explain why he has created Earth Sanctuary, his 500-year plan to return the property to an old-growth forest and lead 60-second meditations at several of Earth Sanctuary’s sacred spaces. Experience the labyrinth, two stone circles, two Medicine Wheels, Buddhist stupa, dolmen, prayer wheels, artworks, and a habitat ideal for observing birds and wildlife.

The tour will be on grassy and wooded paths with some grade changes. Comfortable walking shoes are suggested, along with weather-appropriate clothing. Participants may bring binoculars for bird watching, although they are not required. Please complete registration for each person attending the tour.
