Michael Foley, photographer, will have an exhibition of his work in the Kristin and Earl Lasher Gallery at the Whidbey Island Center for the Arts (WICA) during the months of September and October 2024. A reception will be held on September 5th from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM. Crackers and wine will be offered to everyone who attends this free event.

Michael Foley’s journey with photography began at a young age with a Kodak Instamatic camera. His passion for capturing moments grew as he “borrowed” his Dad’s Nikon during his teenage years. Today, Michael’s love for the outdoors and hiking naturally complements his photography, ensuring he always has a camera within reach.

Michael believes that moments find him rather than the other way around. He follows his instincts to capture these moments, viewing them as a partnership between the observer and the universe. His photographs reflect his unique relationship with the world, inviting viewers to share in his experiences.
