Library Walk: Life in the Forest

Join Steve and Martha Ellis on a walk through the Whidbey Camano Land Trust property on Strawberry Point. You'll learn the most important tree and other flora species that make up the forest and what each of them contributes to the forest community. Along the way we'll encounter some of the remarkable birds, mammals and invertebrates that are vital to the health of this ecosystem. You'll gain the understanding that forests are more than just collections of trees.

Guides Steve & Martha Ellis have been leading walks and giving talks on a wide range of natural history topics for more than 30 years. Steve is a former president of Whidbey Audubon Society; Martha is a member of the Washington Native Plant Society.
