About this Event

Explore the fundamentals of the world of traditional loose leaf tea with Joshua Brock, the founder of The Empty Tea Cup, a Tea House and Tea Exploration service based in Oak Harbor. While sipping a variety of teas*, we'll dive into what has elevated the Camellia-Sinensis plant to becoming the second most consumed beverage on the planet. We will also talk about what defines tea and the truth or myth behind common tea origins. Your curiosity about tea is welcomed and encouraged!

As the founder of The Empty Tea Cup, Joshua loves to share his knowledge and love for tea and to create space for "tea and togetherness."

*The majority of teas to be sampled are of Camellia-Sinensis base and will contain caffeine.
