The evolution of plastic has transformed modern life, but its use has become so prolific that plastic can be found in the most unlikely of places: in our oceans; in our food; in our bodies.

In this program, Waste Wise Program Coordinator Sarah Bergquist will talk about the ways plastic has improved modern life and the problems our dependence on plastic has caused. She will share what we can do to limit our exposure and its spread through our environment.
