About this Event

Join us for this program with Dr. Dan Tomandl, where we will "act out" daily and annual solar motions and reveal how to know where to park near a tree to be in the shade after shopping.  After learning how sun dials work, we will then make an accurate one out of card stock and string.

The information and activity presented is appropriate for anyone age 9 and older.

Q&A session follows the program.

Presented by Dr. Dan Tomandl, Emeritus Professor of Physics and Astronomy, Northwest University, Kirkland.
