About this Event

The holidays can be exhausting even when our lives are running smoothly but the combination of chronic health challenges and the holiday season can feel truly overwhelming.

Join Jerri Woods from the Alzheimer's Association to learn ways to find balance during what can be an overwhelming time of year, especially for people with a chronic illness (like Alzheimer's), their caregivers, and those supporting them.

For those interested, we'll end with a small workshop on how to build a personalized memory box and provide attendees with some supplies to get started. Memory boxes can be a great tool to help connect with someone experiencing dementia and to reduce anxiety.

This event is designed for family, friends, caregivers, those supporting caregivers, and people living with a chronic illness.

Warm beverages and snacks will be provided.
