About this Event

When in nature, how do you increase your attentiveness, your ability to capture beauty, and to find those quirky, accurate details which make a journal sing? Author Susan Zwinger will share her 24 illustrated notebooks to inspire you. Heighten your observation and learn a simple Japanese line drawing method in which everybody can draw. Capture that place, time, feeling forever while creating beautiful pages. All ability levels are welcome.

Please register in advance as seating is limited. Plan to arrive 10 minutes early, at 9:50 am. At the start of the program, any remaining seats will be made available to those on the waitlist or walk-ins who have not registered.

Susan Zwinger has written four books of natural history. Her artwork has been collected by museums in New Mexico and Colorado. As a poet and nonfiction writer, she keeps elaborate illustrated journals and teaches journaling, natural history, art and writing workshops across the West.
