The Whidbey Island Cider Festival is the major fundraising event for Pacific Rim Institute and a chance to share with the community the work that Pacific Rim Institute does to restore the endangered westside prairie habitat and the species found therein.
Started in 2017, the Whidbey Island Cider Festival used to fit in the Granary building at Pacific Rim Institute. In 2023 the event was held outdoors, and exceeded the expectations at PRI. In 2024 the event was held at the Greenbank Farm.
In 2025 the Cider Festival is returning to PRI, allowing us to highlight the importance of our work in environmental restoration on Whidbey Island and beyond.
From now until September 19, purchase your tickets in advance and receive $5 off the at-the-door price for a keepsake tasting glass with the Cider Festival logo and 6 tasting tokens (for 21+).
Enjoy live music from The Shifty Sailors, A Fiddle in the Forest and more, browse through vendor booths, choose from a variety of local food trucks, visit PRI’s Native Plant Center, and more.
There is no entrance cost for designated drivers or non-drinkers.
