About this Event

Farming has been the backbone of Whidbey from the time the first people came until the present. In this program, Dalva Church, Executive Director of the Island County Historical Museum, will talk about the farming practices of Coast Salish Peoples, share stories about what life was like for early farmers, and highlight how farming changed from the time of early settlers in the 1850s to the 1960s.
