The Whidbey Art Gallery on Second St in Langley will host Art Walk from 5-7 on Saturday, May 6. It’s a great time to meet some of our 37 artists and visit with friends and neighbors.

The talented artists at Whidbey Art Gallery in Langley are hoping that all our April showers will bring May flowers. The gallery is filled with colorful new work and is the place to pick up something for Mother’s Day. A framed floral painting or photograph stands the test of time, and there is much more to consider, from jewelry, ceramics and pottery to photography, calligraphy, yard art and beadwork.

In May, our featured artists are photographer Holly Davison and metal artists Johnathan and Jandellyn Ward. Holly’s photographs are spectacular in color and composition. They brighten up any corner and offer a peek into Mother Nature’s beauty. The Wards’ Winfield Designs are known for their metal garden art. Their bright powder coated pieces will add a pop of color and design to your garden or patio pots. They produce large and small scale pieces that are functional and beautiful.

Whidbey Art Gallery is pleased to welcome Lynda Ransley as our guest artist in May. Her work is vibrant, colorful, and energetic. Lynda's paintings use resin (with acrylic and mica powder for color), or alcohol ink and heat is often used to blend colors and/or create effects. Her live edge tables use native wood on custom steel bases. The wood is sealed with penetrating oil to deepen the grain and provide water resistance.
